"As it is above, so shall it be below"

KJ: To my utter dismay, my wife decided to start off this blog with this quote and asked me to give my interpretation. SIGH. smh. I was looking for a cool video, epic illustrations.. however all praises to the Almighty, with whom this or us, could not have been possible.

My interpretation is what was ordained in heaven comes into being in the realm of men. Our lives were set in place long before we were born, long before our parents were born and so forth. Even how Diosa and I met and the events that took place from 2015 to now, show me that I have very little control and my life isn't mine to decide.

DJ: I love the way my husband's mind works. He has such an interesting perspective on life and what I normally think about things I can trust is not how he sees them. I contributed to the introduction of our blog with this phrase because our journey is one that we both can say started above, and is being experienced below. Below where? Here, on earth, our everyday lives.

I know God through my first encounter with Him some 14 years ago, however, I am far from religious. To my husband's surprise, he can be more heaven minded than me when I share my thoughts. You see, Kavan also knows God and his walk with Him is completely opposite to mine. So you can imagine we both may look like we walk with two left feet as a couple.

But we work...

Kavan and I though very different, share a few vital elements in common...our love for travel, love of food, our passion for growth and personal development and a vision of a future that our parents would be proud of.

KJ: In closing, wifey and I work, so I believe this was a great first post idea! All the epic illustrations and videos will come later. Cheers!
